At present the soul of humanity has many treasures, since we have reason, education and learning. In the parable, this precious treasure is represented by the piece of silver that was lost to the woman, and which symbolizes full and perfect belief, and the family confidence in early childhood and that can still be enjoyed in adulthood.
In this way, the lost coin continues in the house. And God, within wisdom, has ordained it in such a way that nothing we have once achieved is totally destroyed, as our childhood trust state is still somewhere within us.
We have lost it, however, it has not disappeared because it continues in our soul, in our house. This is the divine purpose that we must have to achieve being in that state.
In this parable we can find the way to find that coin. First we must light a candle and sweep the house. The house represents our mind or soul in which we can find all our treasures. Our mind is the place where we can store many things, but also lose many things.
For its part, the candle that provides us with lighting represents the truth of the Lord: “Lamp is your word to my feet” (Psalm 119:105). In this way, we must know that all truth comes from God, and that He represents the light of the world. For which everyone who receives and understands something of the truth, he is lighting a candle, and by the light that it emanates, he is able to guide himself throughout his life.
So the little child who is in Sunday school and begins to learn the first lessons of the Lord’s commandments and principles is providing a light in his mind. Therefore, the scholar who has the greatest wisdom is the one who learns the deepest truths of the Word, since he is lighting a candle of the one who is the light of the world, of Almighty God.
What lesson does this parable teach us?
One of the lessons that this parable of the lost coin teaches us is about making good use of the object we have found, since we have worked hard to find it. It also urges us to dedicate ourselves to looking for what we have lost in our lives and that for this we need to have the light that means the word of God, where we are shown the clear path that we must follow.
When we are aware of these things, we will be able to understand that only by having full trust in God can we find our hidden treasures, which were buried in pride, the banal things of the world and our own self-centeredness.
But if we recognize that we are sinners and that we need God, we will be able to recover what we have lost within us, in our soul. For this, we must also have the willingness to find it and clear our minds and get away from misconceptions that have succumbed to us for a long time.

In this sense, the woman in this parable represents the affection, the will and the initiative that we must have if we really want to find our treasures, which is the impulse we need, and the intellectual knowledge that we have can be very helpful in our life, but we need the admirable light of God to find the lost treasure, since in it is the truth and the way.

What does this parable teach us in the spiritual realm?

So if the woman sweeps, it is because the floor was indeed dirty, and said desecration of the coin reveals what sin does to a person, where it contaminates him.
