5. You are a child of God
See what great love the Father has given us, that we be called children of God! And we are! The world does not know us, precisely because it did not know him.

By accepting God’s love in your life, you immediately belong to God’s family with all the privileges of a beloved child. Have you told the heavenly Father that you want him to reign in your heart? Have you recognized Jesus as your Lord and Savior? If so, you can be sure that you are his son forever.

6. God’s love protects
How precious, O God, is your great love! Every human being finds refuge in the shadow of your wings.

In his love, God protects you as a bird cares for its young and protects them from the dangers of the world. You can take refuge in the love of the Lord in your moments of pain or need. His mighty love will sustain you and help you weather the storms of life.
