Fornication has become a social ulcer of all humanity – some kind of cancer for which there seems to be no cure. The spirit of fornication roars like a wild lion, and roars everywhere to attract as many as possible; the spirit of fornication knocks on the door of every human being and opens the door of many houses and the windows of many minds, the most difficult thing calms the thoughts of the world, puts nature above all else, and represents sin for the good of our children. But what is fornication for God? Keep reading to find out.
What is fornication for God?
Fornication and adultery are horrible in the eyes of God, and their punishment is hellfire (Revelation 21:8), therefore we must be very careful not to be tempted, especially for believers, we are separated and must go going their separate ways, the world prefers to dress and behave in an aphrodisiac manner with an emphasis on the body (see Romans 12:2).
Matthew 13:3643: “As the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so the same thing will happen at the end of the world. The Son of Man will send his angels to collect all the scandals and iniquities of his kingdom in the cauldron burning. Throw it away. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their father.” He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

How bad is it?
This sin is born in man almost imperceptibly. First it enters through the eyes and ears, then it begins to dominate the thought, the imagination, the mind, the will, and when it enters the heart, sin is ready, the fortress is destroyed, the soul is conquered. Thus it is born from the madness of feelings. It grows from multiple sleep and messy taste of food.
He reaches maturity and begins to enslave man to drink, to sinful entertainments, to self-confidence; from the increasing distance from the temple, from prayer, from pure confession, from fasting, from the Christian life. On the contrary, fornication is overcome with prayer, weakened with fasting, purified with frequent confessions, cured with humility, withheld from feelings, abstinence, and the memory of death.
The destructive effect of this sin is easy to understand from its consequences, so terrible, that occur at every step. The most common consequence of fornication is undoubtedly suffering: illness of the body, weakening of the mind, darkness and even death of conscience. And the hardest and last consequence is complete forgetfulness of God and despair.
The sin of adultery and fornication
The sin of adultery is great but the grace of God is greater than it. It is true that the whole world seems to be the house of iniquity, but God remains patient. This sin is even more difficult to forgive, since it is committed openly, without shame or embarrassment.
But God is still patient. He still comes out to meet us, he searches for us, he knocks on the door of our hearts with his finger of mercy; if we don’t answer him, he meets us with sickness, temptation, poverty, maybe at least that way we will wake up to repentance. We are slow, but He is still patient.
After Adam sinned, God did not completely leave him. Adam delighted, accepted, tasted, fell, did not confess cleanly, but blamed Eve; so he was banished further, to the land of sins. And there, in the distance, poor Adam, weighed down by thorns and wolves, remembered the Father about him and began to call constantly:
“Lord, I am no longer worthy to be master in the Garden of Eden, but accept me as your servant’s needy servant… I have grown, I have delighted, I have tried, I have sinned, but accept me again… From the I cry out to you, Lord! O Lord, hear my voice…Release my soul from prison” (Psalm 129:1; 141:8).
So Adam wept for years with all his descendants. The merciful God heard him, went out on the road to meet him. And where God met man – Christ with Adam – the Cross was erected to heaven, the Cross of God’s Mercy.
an autonomous person
She has a well-developed and healthy body, her face is clear, her eyes are clean, the word is sweet, and the prostitute is always painful, her face is pale, her eyes are red and restless, the word is cruel or seductive; her body often trembles, she sleeps badly, she sees many visions in her dream.
The cocky man
He is peaceful, calm in all troubles, thinking deeply, loving fasting, temple, prayer, confession, and accepts the Holy Mysteries with great joy. And desecrated, on the contrary, always worried in appearance, ready to fight, his thoughts are scattered, his mind is tired and confused, feelings are unclean. He avoids fasting at all, saying that he is weak; he doesn’t go to church because he doesn’t find time for it; he refuses prays because he is ashamed of people; he does not confess because he is ashamed of the priest; he never gives up sin because, he says, he is no longer saved.
the prodigal man
That he is full of sin, left behind by his children, his wife, his friends, men, and his own conscience, and that he has fallen away from God’s grace, he often comes to his senses. Thus, remembering his innocent childhood, the love of his mother, who brought him up with so much work, and the grace of God, he comes to his senses like a prodigal son of the gospel, and his longing for the house of he covers it.
Increasingly denounced by his conscience, spurred on by illness and frightened by the proximity of the hour of death, he gets up from his fall, looks sadly the other way, begins to collapse, regrets what he did, becomes disgusted with this stranger and then begins to cry bitterly. He thus turns to his soul, to his conscience, to his Father, shouting: “My soul, my soul, get up, what am I going to write? (of the Great Canon), or like a prodigal son: “Father, I have sinned.” against heaven and before you and I am no longer worthy to be called your son.
Take me among your mercenaries” (Luke 15: 18-19). I have desecrated the earth with sins, wasted years, invaluable health, youth, property; I have not listened to you, I have fled from your house, I have deprived of the pleasure of being in your temple, I have desecrated my body, my bed, my house, I have killed a fruit of my body, I have beaten my wife, I have entered into the temptation of so many people for sins! I can’t stand, I’m hungry, my new clothes are torn, my money is gone, my sickness is overwhelming, no one takes me, no one heals me, no one knows me anymore…! Accept me for yourself, my God I have sinned in heaven and before you, but make me your last father…”
God calls us to repentance
So, God comes to meet us, calls us to repentance, waits all our lives, as long as we come. And if we listen to his voice, repent of our sins and come back to a new life, repentant, then Jesus Christ meets us with great joy-for we were dead and alive, we were lost and found. (see: Luke 15:24).
And if we do not listen to God and do not repent, then He on the threshold of an empty church or on the road, where he is waiting for us, cries with fatherly pity on the lips of the prophet, saying: “I have raised and raised my children, and they were indignant against me.
The ox knows its master’s manger, but Israel does not know me” (cf.: Isaiah 1, 2-3), and another thing: “The man of honor is not a man of reason, but leaves his cattle to be foolish and be like them” (Psalm 48, 21).
(Psalm 48:21.) One of the best ways to reject all sweet earthly love and return to Christ is through fasting. Because the dissolution of the body is overcome by the feat of fasting, the dissolution of the mind is checked by humility, the desecration of the heart is shaken by the flame of pure prayer and the depth of humility.
Behold, the Great Lent awaits us, the good path, the holy path, the royal path of repentance, the meeting with God, that is why this Gospel was read before fasting. But let us reject the abominable sin of fornication in all its forms. And with that, we will deny all sins.
