Because of sin, we all die. Sin separates us from God, who is the source of all life. During life we still have the opportunity to reconcile with God, but with death comes judgment. No one can escape God’s death and judgment.
But death does not have to be the end. Jesus died and rose again so that everyone who believes in him can have eternal life. In Heaven we will live forever with God, without any more suffering or pain. Death will be destroyed and life will win!

What the Bible says about death
Jesus said to him, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me will live, even if he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who sleep, so that you do not grieve like others who have no hope. If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring, through Jesus and with him, those who slept in him.
but do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day you eat from it you will surely die.”
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Then this desire, having conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin, after being consummated, gives birth to death.
Likewise, as man is destined to die once and then face judgment,
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; no one can pluck them out of my hand.
Our citizenship, however, is in heaven, from where we eagerly await the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. By the power that enables him to bring all things under his dominion, he will transform our humble bodies, making them like his glorious body.
The good name is better
than a very fine perfume,
and the day of death is better
than the day of birth.
What man can live and not see death,
or free yourself from the power of the grave?
Even when I walk
through a valley of darkness and death,
I will not fear any danger, for you are with me;
Your rod and your staff protect me.
Those who walk uprightly
they will enter into peace;
they will find rest in death.
The people who walked in darkness
saw a great light;
about those who lived on earth
from the shadow of death
a light dawned.
If by the transgression of one man death reigned through him, much more those who receive from God the immense provision of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through one man, Jesus Christ.
“Where is it, O death,
your victory?
Where is it, O death,
its sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the Law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
