When we pray for salvation, we are acknowledging Christ as our savior. It is the most important statement that can be made before God. To receive the promise of eternal life. To enter into God’s perfect designs, you must have a legal commitment in the spirit world, and that is done through confession and acknowledgment of God in your life.
What is prayer?
Prayer is talking to God, it is a channel through which we communicate with our heavenly father, to express our concerns, so that faith is the link that gives us the assurance that the father hears every request. Knowing that every time we ask, he will give us, when we seek him, we find him, and if we knock on heaven’s door, he will open.
In writing it is supported as follows:
In Matthew 7:7-8. “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; and he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened.”
What is the prayer of salvation?
It is the legal statement in the spirit world. Through which you recognize that Jesus paid the debt left by sin and you accept what he did, and confess with your mouth that you believe, and commit to leave all misaligned and sinful life that was taking you away from the presence of God and kept in a state of death, to make a state change.
Where you allow Jesu s’ entry into your heart to start walking under the guidance of the holy spirit and receive the greatest promise.“Eternal Life”which is under the seal and his name is recorded in the book of life.
3 Signs that manifest eternity in the prayer of salvation:
1.-The prayer of salvation manifests faith
When we make the prayer of salvation we manifest to God that we believe in his word, and believing is faith, without faith it is impossible to please God. Without faith it is not possible to receive Christ. When we receive him it is because we decide to believe in his perfect promise of eternity.
In Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please God; because it is necessary that the one who approaches God believes that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him ”.
2.- The prayer of salvation manifests the confession of our sins
The moment we say the salvation prayer we genuinely accept that we have sinned. Is in repentance sincere that I know reveals to us the pain that Jesus suffered for the sin of humanity. Then through the conviction that God makes us feel we enter that state of groaning.
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
3.-The salvation prayer manifests Christ as savior and lord
In prayer we acknowledge in faith that Christ is the banner and entrance as our intercessor before God for the salvation of the lifetime eternala. It is the prayer of faith to accept Christ. believing that he is the model and example to follow. Since he never sinned. however, I pay in sacrifice, as a sinner for humanity.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him should not perish but have eternal life”” (John 3:16).
How to do the prayer of faith?
Through four components of the prayer of salvation you can make the confession:
- You must acknowledge that Jesus is your lord and savior.
- You must confess the sinful sin you did by being outside of God’s coverage
- You must Receive and give entry to Jesus in your heart.
- You must commit to God that you will have a new way of life within the will of God, in order to receive the promise of eternal life.
Salvation Prayer Model
“Dear Father, I acknowledge before your presence that I have broken your laws, that my sins have separated me from you. I am sincerely sorry, I want to turn my life away from sin and I confess that I lived out of your way for a long time, I ask you to forgive me and help me not to sin again.
I believe that your son Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins, rose again, and defeated death. I invite Jesus to become the lord of my life, to rule my spirit, soul and body.
I ask you Lord to reign in my heart from this day and forever. I ask you in the name of Jesus to send the holy spirit to guide me, to be my helper so that I can be born again.
I ask you, Lord, to teach me to be obedient to do your perfect will. Write my name in the holy book of eternal life and establish the original design in all areas of my being.
In the mighty name of Jesus, amen and amen…”
If you performed the salvation prayer with the full conviction of genuine repentance. Knowing that God fulfills the promises written in his book. Where the living word that emerges from his word, are pure and true. Then you have entered into his design to be part of his kingdom, and to rule together with our beloved Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
