There are problems that leave us shaken, dejected. Where can we find hope to overcome these challenges, if not in God? Only the Lord is able to save and protect us, to sustain and heal us. He, through Jesus Christ, opened the doors of Eternity, where we hope to rest beside him forever.
1. God does not fail
Not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, because we know that tribulation produces perseverance; perseverance, an approved character; and the approved character, hope.
And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts, through the Holy Spirit that he has given us.
– Romans 5:3-5
No one likes to go through difficulties, but even in the most difficult moments, God helps us to have victory. God’s love never fails, you can trust it!
2. Hope fuels faith
Now, faith is the certainty of what we hope for and the proof of things we do not see.
– Hebrews 11:1
Without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is the hope of that which has not yet occurred, but we believe will happen. Believe that Jesus can transform your life and change your luck. Feed this hope with the Word of God.
3. God is with you
What shall we say, then, in the face of these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him freely give us all things?
– Romans 8:31-32
God wants to help and bless you. God offers eternal life and restoration in this life, He loves you and wants to change your life for the better. Trust in the Lord.
4. The future is wonderful
That’s why we don’t get discouraged. Although outwardly we are wasting away, inwardly we are being renewed day by day, for our light and momentary sufferings are producing for us an eternal glory that outweighs them all.
– 2 Corinthians 4:16-17
Sufferings may be great now, but eternity is greater. The problems won’t last forever. You have a future with God, where there will be no more pain or suffering. Do not give up!
5. Bring to mind what brings you hope
I want to bring to memory what can give me hope.
– Lamentations 3:21
Think, how many things has God done for you? How many blessings, how many deliverances? Remember everything God has already done for you, use your memory to feed your faith. For the one who blessed you will bless you even more!
6. God is the reason for our hope!
Rather, sanctify Christ as Lord in your heart. Always be prepared to respond to anyone who asks you for the reason for the hope that is in you.
– 1 Peter 3:15
Don’t be afraid to say who you believe in. If God is the reason for your faith and hope, proclaim his name. Every time we say with our mouth who we trust (Jesus Christ), we strengthen our faith.
7. Hope for a lifetime!
If it is only for this life that we have hope in Christ, then of all men we are the most worthy of compassion.
– 1 Corinthians 15:19
In Christ we have hope beyond earthly life. God can transform our lives, but He went further: He gave us the prospect of eternal life through His Son. When we accept Jesus, our hearts are filled with hope.
8. He will continue to deliver us from all evil
He has delivered us and will continue to deliver us from such danger of death. We have placed our hope in Him that He will continue to deliver us,
– 2 Corinthians 1:10
Jesus Christ was able to free us from the power of death, and it is in this power that we place our hope. He is able to deliver us from all our tribulations and problems, so put your trust in God today!
9. Who will I fear?
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
of whom will I be afraid?
The Lord is my strong refuge;
Who will I be afraid of?
– Psalm 27:1
If we can take refuge in God, then nothing will be able to shake us. The Lord Creator of the Universe protects us with his power, who could harm us? Make God your refuge and feel safe.
10. Joyful in suffering
My brothers, consider it a source of great joy when you go through various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
– James 1:2-3
Nobody likes to be troubled, to go through difficulties. But these difficulties serve something, they serve to strengthen us, to mature us. There is a purpose behind the pain.
11. The victory is already ours
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the Law. But thanks be to God, who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
– 1 Corinthians 15:56-57
Our victory has already been won, there on Calvary, in the sacrifice of Jesus. We cannot forget that this life is only temporary, we are walking towards eternity, and we will pass through a door that was opened by Jesus.
12. Nothing compares
I consider that our current sufferings cannot be compared with the glory that will be revealed in us.
– Romans 8:18
Contemplate what exists in front of you, in the future. There is no pain that can compare with the joy we will have in being next to our God. He is our hope, help and refuge, in him we can trust that everything will be well.
